Cyklus Pokušení na poušti jsem promýšlel řadu let – přesto stěžejní plátna se udělaly jakoby „samy“, zčista jasna to tady bylo, najednou jsem měl tu tíži za sebou – či spíše by se dalo říci, že téma nabalovalo stále nové další variace, Cítil jsem, že bylo vysloveno cosi společného a spojujícího pro tento svět – a zároveň se mně myšlenka vracela ve vysoce individuální formě, která snad už nikoho nepřipomíná. Přede mnou byla cesta vedoucí opravdu do dáli…

The cycle of Temptation in the Desert - I thought about it through of many years - but the main paintings were done by "alone", suddenly it was there, suddenly I had done for it - or rather, one might say that the new issue snowballed still another variations. I felt it was revealing something in common and connecting with this world - and at the same time this idea was returning in a highly individual form, which perhaps already does not resemble anybody. Before me was really the way leading into the distance ...
