Víťova stejnojmnná skladba pro symfonický orchestr a bicí / Vít Zouhar / je plná barev exotických zvuků. Motiv černých listů, které určují střed tohoto obrazu jsem převzal ze svých obrazů 70-tých let – zvyšují napětí kompozice a tvoří dekorativní kontrast k hloubce obrazového prostoru. Řešení dyptychu má tak zklidněný rytmus počítající i s mezerou mezi oběma plátny.  Často mne napadá jak by v případech vícedílných polyptychů vypadala výsledná kompozice kdyby plátno bylo vcelku – mezery mají samozřejěm nepopiratelný vliv na utváření celku…

Gate of the Sun

The same name composition by Vit Zouhar for symphony orchestra and percussion is full of colors and  exotic sounds. The motif of black leafs, which determine the center of this picture I took from my paintings 70s – they are increasing tension of composition and form a decorative contrast to the depth of pictorial space. Solution of dyptych had calmed the rhythm and counts with a gap between the two screens. I often think how often in these cases of multi-part canvas looks polyptych - of course, gaps have undeniable influence in shaping the whole composition ...
