Myšlenku symbolu jižních krajin, jižního slunce po léta používám jako model proměny. Člověk je tvorem na cestě, je bytostí proměny - odtud takový důraz na rozvíjení již původně řečeného. Spekulativní tendence v umění mně byly vždy cizí, návrat mladých k čistě malířským řešením v posledních letech mne utvrzuje v přesvědčení, že v žilách umění může kolovat skutečná krev, a že je to vždy o tomtéž: člověk stoupá přes všechny pády stále vzhůru - smysl má jen toto pozitivní poselství…

Man is a creature on the road, is creature of changes - that is why such an emphasis on original intention.
