Festival pořádá každé dva roky kolokvium, které si klade za cíl upozornit na vzrůstající hlad po duchovních hodnotách a posunout tuto problematiku do mezinárodních souvislostí. „Veškerá hudba je posvátná“, řekl před dvěma lety na festivalovém kolokviu významný rumunský skladatel Liviu Danceanu. Přeneseně se dá uvažovat o celém umění jako plodu lidského ducha. Tíhu možnosti neexistence umění si uvědomují tvůrčí lidé kdekoliv uprostřed dnešního technokratického světa.
Premiérové programy, které mají ambice navrátit závažné obsahy do postmoderního umění a přitom stát v popředí zájmu světové hudby, nejsou běžnou záležitostí v Evropě ani v zámoří. O to více je třeba vyzdvihnout úsilí všech kdo se aktivně podílejí na tvorbě podobných projektů, které skutečně reprezentují umění své doby i směrem do budoucna. V atmosféře přicházející všeobecné globalizace si každý národ chrání svoji osobitost - hodnoty, které přetrvají. Vždyť více než kdy předtím platí, že národ bez myšlenky - zjevení, které může být zprostředkováno jedině uměním - přestává být národem…
The biennale Festival is organized as a Colloquy on “Spiritual Streams in Contemporary Arts“, which has already reached rather wide recognition in the Czech Republic. The goal of this event is to direct attention to a growing hunger for spiritual values in today’s art world and to classify this topic among international relations. “All music is sacred” claimed remarkable Romanian composer Liviu Danceanu during a festival Colloquy two years ago. Danceanu believed it would be possible to transfer meaning to all art as a fruit of the human spirit. Creative people throughout the world today, predominantly technologists would consider the danger of the art becoming non-existent. In the atmosphere of globalisation each nation protects its valuable originality so that it will survive. It is necessary to emphasize the universal effort of all who take an active role in creating artistic projects that represents art of today and the future.

Premiere programs, which seek to relate important topics to post-modern art and to focus on world music, are not common concerns in Europe. In an atmosphere of increasing globalisation, every nation seeks to protect its respective identity. More than ever, it has become apparent that a nation without any unique ideas or revelations, which are manifested only by art, will cease to be a nation. It is necessary to emphasize the universal effort of all who take an active role in creating artistic projects that represents art of today and the future.
