The International Society for Contemporary Music (ISCM) is an international network of members from around fifty countries, devoted to the promotion and presentation of contemporary music. www.iscm.org/about.php
Changes in the ISCM Executive Committee
At the ISCM General Assembly in Vilnius, October 2008, Richard Tsang resigned as President of the Executive Committee. John Davis, Vice-President at that time, was elected as Tsang’s successor, and board member Peter Swinnen was then elected as Vice-President. Other resigning members were Ramon Anthin and Emilio Mendoza. Three new board members were elected: Olga Smetanova David McMullin, and Tapio Tuomela. After a period of twelve years Henk Heuvelmans resigned as the Secretary General of the ISCM. In Vilnius the Excom appointed Heuvelmans’ colleague Arthur van der Drift as the new Secretary General.

During this festival there will also be a concert with the winning works of the European competition for the composition and interpretation of live-electronic music projects. Deadline of 1 April 2009.
