Určující pro mne je právě ta atmosféra vytržení – neopakovatelné a nepostihnutelné gesto rukou – krajinný výsek viděný v protisvětle – je složený ze stovek krajin, které jsem kdy viděl a maloval. Hledat samu esenci krajiny bylo mým dávným přáním a cílem. Názvem obrazu jsem nemyslel nic co se obvykle spojuje s osociací čísla sedm, název nemá dokonce evokovat žádné město – ačkoliv jedno možná ano…
