Zvláštní atmosféra ticha zdejších letních polí mně stále nedopřává klidu – jsem čím dál více přesvědčen, že je to krajina mimořádné barevnosti a světla. Má daleké obzory i lužní lesy plné poledního slunce – za letního dne má obloha výšku italské krajiny. Jenom tady to má přece jen více severské zádumčivosti hovořící v symbolech…

The special atmosphere of silence of local summer fields still not give me a peace - I am more and more convinced that this is an extraordinary landscape of color and light. It has far horizons, floodplain forests full of the noonday sun - during the summer day it has the sky with height of Italian landscapes. But only here it has still more Nordic gloom, which is speaking in symbols...
