V monumentální malbě vidím prostředek jak vybřednout z nicotnosti doby –toho pohyblivého  písku relativismu,který se utápí v bezbřehé mnohomluvnosti. Není zde místa pro nahodilou banalitu - je to šance vyslovit cosi stálejšího.

In monumental painting I can see the means of getting out of the futility of our time – of that movable sand of relativism, which is flooded with talkativeness. It is a chance to express something more permanent. There is no room here for casual banality as stupidity automatically burst beyond a definite limit of area...
