Motiv pouště se v mých pracích objevuje už v druhé polovině osmdesátých let – pro mne je to jednoznačně signál jisté osudovosti, která anticipuje skutečnost. Pocit sálavého horka a přeludu vidění je naléhavější pobídkou k práci a ke snění – jedno bez druhého nemůže existovat, tvůrčí proces má v sobě velkou dávku snovosti – na to se dnes zapomíná a upadáme do opačného extrému dobrovolné sešněrovanosti všednodennostmi života…

Feeling of radiant heat of vision and illusion is stronger incentive to work and dream - one without the other can not exist - the creative process has a great deal of dreamlike quality - today we have tendency forget this truth and we fall into the opposite extreme stringency of everyday life ...
