V období těch pěti let jsem si vše v malbě jakoby zopakoval, trvalo to dlouho, ale nezapomeňte, že jsem v té době už živil rodinu a zabýval se profesně hudbou. Přes typickou atmosféru normalizace „ve stínu soudruhů“ a přes těžkosti vlastního názorového hledání to byla doba šťastná, na kterou se nezapomíná. Naučila myšlenkové nezávislosti a vědomí stálosti hodnot…

During these five years I had everything as if repeated in the painting - it took a long time, but remember that I had in that time already family and was professionally engaged in music. Despite the typical atmosphere of normalization "in the shadow of comrades" and despite of own difficulties finding of artistic opinions - it was a happy time, which I will never forget. It learned independence of thoughts and consciousness of stability of values...
