Akty první poloviny 80. let byly přímým rozjezdem k velkým figurálním kompozicím začátku 90.let. Přehodnocení vizuální zkušenosti do více abstraktní podoby dokumentují kresby a monotypy té doby. Většina produkce 80. let nebyl nikdy vystavena – nikdy nebyl čas vracet se: kurátoři svobodné éry vyžadovali stále nové a nové obrazy. Vždy mne takový jednostranný přístup udivoval – obraz nejsou noviny, které druhý den strčíte pod jabka…
Acts of the first half of the 80th were starting a direct flight to the great early 90's figural compositions. Rethinking of visual experience into a more abstract form documents a numerous monotypes and drawings of this time. Most production of the 80th years had never been exposed - curators of “free era” of 90-ties were requiring more and more new works. I was always amazed by such a unilateral approach - a picture is not the newspaper, which we would next day stick under the apples...
