Primavera – 1976

Botticelliho kompoziční rozvržení jeho slavné Primavery mne lákalo k vyjádření symbolické řeči gest rukou, pohybem figur. Nevadilo mně, že výsledkem mnoha náčrtů byla nakonec tato více-méně skicovitá etuda, věděl jsem o nebezpečí přílišného zájmu o technické finesy – postmoderní vypůjčky se tehdy ještě moc nenosily…baví mne pomyšlení, že bych možná udělal radost všem galeristům, co dnes nutí autory k hybridnímu způsobu prezentace…  

Primavera - 1976

Botticelli's compositional layout of his famous Primavera attracted me to express the symbolic speech of hand gestures, movement figures etc. It did not matter to me, that result of many sketches was only this small etude - I knew about the dangers of excessive interest in technical finesse - the postmodern goals were unknown for me ... today I think that I might have done joy all the gallery owners, what compels authors to hybrid presentation ...
